How much of a relief it is to read this verse, "We are perplexed, but not in despair."
This verse means that God knows we as humans fall into worry and confusion about almost anything and everything in our daily lives very easily and He understands; but it doesn't just stop there. He gives us the reassurance that though we may be in worry and confusion, we will never find ourselves in hopelessness because He is with us. Whenever you find yourself being perplexed about your circumstances, future, etc, remember that God knows and is in control. And when He is in control, you can only expect the best outcome to happen - in His timing.
So friends, don't indulge yourself in a pity-party and remember that "this hope we have as an anchor of our soul, both sure and steadfast." (Hebrews 6:19)
Be blessed.
