One sows, another reaps (Happy New Year!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 FRIENDS!

I was listening to Pst Joseph Prince's podcast titled Expect a Harvest of Blessings yesterday and he shared this amazing verse. It reminds us that God is not on the lookout for someone who has done good to bless, or someone who has done bad to punish. All of us as His children are entitled to His blessings and goodness, simply because He loves us.

The wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23), for all the sins that mankind had sowed, death as the wages has been reaped by Jesus on the cross. And at the same time on that cross, Jesus has sowed a seed of grace, reconciliation with the Lord and also blessings for us. Therefore we are now able to reap a harvest of blessings despite our imperfections and shortfalls because Jesus on the cross has sowed the seed. And now if you think that something bad you did last year will come back to you and ruin you this year or in the future, do you actually think that 'something bad' whatever it is, is greater and more powerful than what Jesus did on the cross for you? God loves us and He wants to show His love, mercy and grace to us. Don't let the devil whisper you otherwise. Jesus has sowed, now we reap.

I pray and hope that 2016 will be the best you have ever had, full of beautiful moments with the Lord and your loved ones. Be blessed.
